Renames the config directory and updates 514 references across 42 Rust
source files, plus CLAUDE.md, .gitignore, Makefile, script/release,
and .mcp.json files. All 1205 tests pass.

The server writes .mcp.json with its current port on startup and
during worktree creation. Tracking it in git causes QA gate failures
when the worktree copy diverges from master (e.g. different port).

Test commands in run_project_tests now use wait-timeout to enforce a
600-second ceiling, preventing hung processes (e.g. Playwright with no
server) from blocking the merge pipeline indefinitely. Also disables
e2e tests in script/test until the merge workspace can run them safely.

Agents running in git worktrees weren't inheriting permissions from
settings.local.json since it's path-specific. Moving the allowlist to
the committed settings.json ensures all worktrees get pre-approved
permissions automatically.

Single env var STORYKIT_PORT configures backend port, frontend proxy target,
frontend dev server port (port + 2172), and WebSocket host. Added .story_kit_port
to .gitignore and .ignore to prevent git tracking and cargo watch restart loops.

Add workflow engine with acceptance gates, test recording, and review
queue. Frontend displays gate status (blocked/ready), test summaries,
failing badges, and warnings. Proceed action is disabled when gates
are not met. Includes 13 unit tests (Vitest) and 9 E2E tests
(Playwright) covering all five acceptance criteria.
